Membership Committee The Membership Committee in consultation with the Vice-President Membership shall have the responsibility of obtaining, intergrating and retaining members. It shall obtain, keep current and make available to the Officers and Trustees, the identity of any appropriate information pertinent to all members. |

House Committee This Committee under the direction of the Administration shall have general charge of maintenance and repair of the Temple buildings and facilities. It shall establish house rules. It shall have the authority to expend or authorize expenditures up to the sum of $2000.00, for any single item. |

Board of Education The Board of Education shall function in consultation with the Vice-President Education. It shall act in overall supervision of the Nursery and the Religious Schools and shall oversee participation in the Hebrew High School program. It shall establish educational policy and standards; it shall review and recommend the school budget; it shall administer and recommend the engaging and discharging of principals, head teachers, teachers and othe employees. The Board of Education shall administer and recommend the fixing of salaries and recommend tuition fees and other charges. Membership of the Board of Education shall consist of a Chairperson and no less than twelve (12) members and no more than sixteen (16) members appointed by the President of the Temple. A quorum shall consist of a majority of the total membership of the Committee. |

Religious Affairs Committee This Committee shall consist of no less than fourteen (14) members and no more than eighteen (18) members including the Chairperson. A quorum shall consist of a majority of the total membership of the Committee. It shall in conjunction with the Vice-President Religious Affairs and under the direction of the Rabbi: |
|
| 1. Learn and then teach the Board of Trustees and the general membership the Conservative aproach of Jewish ritual, worship and Synagogue practice; | |
| 2. Arrange for regular adult worship services appropriate to the needs of the Congregation for weekday, Sabbaths, holidays and special occasions; | |
| 3. Present for the consideration of the Board of Trustees a set of guiding principles for religious services in the Synagogue and a set of standards for Sabbath, holiday and Kashrut observances on Synagogue premises or at affairs sponsored by the Synagogue; | |
| 4. Present to the Board of Trustees any proposals for major changes in Synagogue ritual; | |
| 5. Confer with the Board of Education on those aspects of the Synagogue service and ritual which involve the participation of school children; | |
| 6. In conjunction with the Rabbinical Committee, arrange and conduct interviews with candidates for positions on the religious staff and present recommendations to the Board of Trustees for filling any vacancies; | |
| 7. Maintain responsibility for seating arrangements on the High Holy Days and for distribution of Synagogue "honors". | |

Public Relations Committee |
|
Community Relations/Social Action Committee This committee in consultation with the Vice-President Programming shall be responsible for developing and maintaing liason with Jewish and general organizations in the community. It shall study community problems which may arise and make recommendations for appropriate action to the Board of Trustees. |

Jewish/Israel Affairs Committee This committee in consultation with the Vice-President Programming shall be responsible for programs involving the Jewish People throughout the world. |
|
Chesed Committee The Chesed Committee in consultation with the Administration and Clergy shall concern itself with the good and welfare of the Synagogue, extending assistance and comfort to the congregants. |
|
Adult Education Committee This committee in consultation with the Vice-President Education shall be responsible for developing a program of education for the adults of the Congregation and the Jewish community. |
|
Camp Committee The Camp Committee shall be under the direction of the Executive Committee. It shall act in overall supervision of the Summer Program and administer its operation. It shall establish policy and review and recommend the camp budget. |
|
Youth Activities Committee This committee in consultation with the Vice President - Education shall act in furtherance of all activities involving the youth of the Temple and community. |
|
Cemetery Committee The Cemetery Committee under the direction of the Executive Committee shall have general charge of all cemetery land and facilities owned by the Temple, including the division and sale of the graves therein, interments, erection of the monuments and the beautification and maintenace of such land and facilities. It shall establish rules and regulations and fix all charges and fees for graves and facilities. It shall have authority to expend or authorize expenditures up to the sum of $1000.00 for any single item |

Judaica Museum Committee The Judaica Museum Committee, chaired by the Curator and in consultation with the Administration, shall administer the Judaica Museum. The Judaica Museum shall collect, preserve, exhibit and interpert ceremonial and secular objects to encourage understanding and appreciation of our Judaic heritage. |
